This sketch was originally a photo. Both sketch and photo convey a notion of fragility. A diagonal direction was used to show this. The image is focused on the object in the girls hands through the line of sight of the depicted girl.

Taken in Sicily this is a photo of a temple/church that I had the opportunity to take. The simplicity of the geometrical rectangular shapes set in contrast with the dome roof of the building is enthralling. The shadows too provide an insight into the form of the church.

This is a photo of Hotel Tassel in Brussels. It is considered the first Art Nouveau architecture. Both interior and exterior design represent what architecture means to me. An experimentation which captures the imagination and serves a function.
